Role Description This is a full-time, on-site SAP Record to Report (R2R) Analyst role based in the Pune Division, offering a compensation of up to 6 LPA for candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience. The SAP R2R Analyst will manage end-to-end record-to-report processes, including posting and reviewing journal entries, maintaining general ledger accounts, and ensuring accurate financial closing activities.

The role involves performing account reconciliations, validating data in SAP, and supporting month-end and year-end closing in line with organizational policies and compliance requirements. The analyst will prepare and maintain documentation, support internal and external audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve process efficiency. Daily responsibilities also include responding to stakeholder queries, providing analytical insights on financial data, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the R2R function.

Qualifications

Strong records management and document management skills to maintain accurate, compliant, and up-to-date financial and process documentation.

Proficiency in account reconciliation and related SAP R2R activities to ensure integrity of general ledger accounts and timely closing.

Well-developed analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify variances, and support decision-making and process improvements.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with finance, audit, and business teams and to explain financial findings clearly.

2+ years of experience in SAP Record to Report, general ledger, or similar finance operations roles, preferably in a shared services or corporate environment.

Working knowledge of SAP FI or related ERP financial modules and familiarity with standard accounting principles (e.g., GAAP/IFRS).

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field

Ability to work on-site in Pune Division, manage deadlines, and handle multiple priorities with attention to detail
