Full Stack Development - Internship (WFH)

About the internship:We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineering Intern to help build reliable web products. You will work with experienced engineers across React interfaces, Node.js services, REST APIs, and PostgreSQL while writing production code and learning modern software engineering practices.

Applied AI is part of the engineering landscape we build in. You do not need to arrive as an AI specialist, though a working understanding of what these systems do and where they fit will serve you well. Opportunities to contribute to AI-enabled work arise across our projects, and engineers who show sound judgement here are well placed to take them.

This is not an observation or classroom-style role. You will own deliverables, participate in engineering processes, and be expected to ship work that impacts users.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Build reusable, accessible React components and connect them to Node.js services; gain exposure to Next.js.

2. Design RESTful APIs with clear contracts, input validation, authentication and authorization basics, and consistent errors.

3. Write SQL queries and model relational data in PostgreSQL.

4. Contribute to maintainable Node.js services and gain exposure to NestJS.

5. Write automated tests, debug issues across the stack, and improve reliability and performance.

6. Contribute to AI-enabled features where a project calls for them, and build a working understanding of how these capabilities are applied and evaluated in production software.

7. Deploy applications and gain exposure to Docker, CI/CD, cloud services, and infrastructure basics.

8.
