Clinic Assistant

Clinics assistant Job. The candidate should be able to manage the appointment schedule and help with Dental patient assistance. The candidate should have basic computer knowledge so that they can perform OPD entry and assist the clinic staff. Key Responsibilities:• Open and prepare the clinic daily, ensuring all equipment, instruments, and materials are ready. • Welcome patients, assist with seating, and maintain a friendly, professional environment. • Assist dentists during procedures by preparing instruments, operating suction, mixing materials, and maintaining a clean working area. • Follow strict sterilization and infection-control protocols, including instrument cleaning, autoclaving, and biomedical waste disposal. • Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms, reception, and common areas throughout the day. • Monitor inventory, replenish supplies, and report shortages or expired materials. • Assist with appointment scheduling, patient records, follow-up calls, and laboratory coordination. • Support dental X-rays/RVG procedures if trained. • At closing, sterilize instruments, disinfect work areas, secure records, and prepare the clinic for the next day. Expected Standards:Punctuality, personal hygiene, teamwork, patient confidentiality, polite communication, and adherence to clinic protocols are mandatory. The assistant should contribute to efficient patient care, smooth workflow, and a positive patient experience.
