Essential Qualification:

BAMS from a recognized University/Institution.

MD/MS (Ayurveda) in Kaumarabhritya/Bala Roga from a recognized

University/Institution.

Valid registration with the applicable State Board/Council or relevant statutory

authority.

Candidates must fulfil the applicable NCISM norms for the respective post.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in the concerned subject in a

recognized Ayurveda medical college/institution.

For Associate Professor, relevant experience at the level of Assistant

Professor/Lecturer, as applicable under NCISM norms.

Teaching and clinical experience at UG/PG level will be preferred.

Experience in postgraduate teaching, research and student guidance will be

an added advantage.

Desirable:

Ph.D. in the concerned/related field.

Research publications in peer-reviewed/indexed journals.

Experience as PG teacher/guide.

Clinical experience in Kaumarabhritya/Bala Roga, preferably in a teaching

hospital.

Experience in academic/departmental administration.

Knowledge of NCISM regulations and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and clinical training of UG and PG students.

Supervision of clinical services in Kaumarabhritya/Bala Roga.

Guiding postgraduate research/dissertations.

Conducting examinations and assessments.

Research, publications, seminars and conferences. Departmental academic and administrative activities.
