The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills and experience in preparing students for the CBSE Class X Board Examination.Key ResponsibilitiesTeach English to students of Grades 9 and 10 as per the CBSE curriculum.Plan and deliver engaging, student-centric lessons.Cover English Language & Literature, grammar, reading, writing and communication skills.Prepare students effectively for the CBSE Class X Board Examination.Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers and study materials.Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.Identify learning gaps and provide appropriate remedial support.Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.Use innovative teaching methodologies and digital learning tools.Maintain student academic records and assessment data.Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress when required.Participate in school events, co-curricular activities and academic initiatives.Work collaboratively with the academic team to achieve learning outcomes.Candidate ProfileBachelor's/Master's Degree in English from a recognized university.B.Ed. qualification is mandatory.CTET Paper-II qualification will be preferred/required as applicable.15 years of relevant teaching experience in CBSE/ICSE/English-medium schools.Experience teaching Classes 9 & 10 is highly preferred.Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and Class X Board examination pattern.Excellent written and spoken English communication.Good classroom management and student-handling skills.Proficiency in using technology/digital teaching resources.Passionate about teaching, mentoring and developing students.Preferred CandidatesCandidates with any of the following will have an added advantage:Prior experience in a CBSE school.Experience handling Class X Board batches.Demonstrated strong student/Board examination results.Experience in lesson planning, assessment design and remedial teaching.Ability to mentor and motivate adolescent learners.Job Location: Hosur, Tamil Nadu
