Software Development Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer with at least 1 year of hands-on experience building solutions on Snowflake. The candidate should be comfortable designing, building, and managing reliable data pipelines that move data from multiple sources into a central data platform.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and loading data into SnowflakeDesign scalable data models, schemas, tables, and views in SnowflakeDevelop ETL/ELT workflows using SQL, Python, or data orchestration toolsIntegrate data from APIs, databases, files, and third-party platformsMonitor pipeline performance, failures, data quality, and freshnessOptimize Snowflake queries, warehouses, storage, and compute usageImplement incremental loads, change data capture, and scheduled workflowsWork with engineering and business teams to understand data requirementsMaintain documentation for pipelines, datasets, and data transformationsRequirements1+ year of hands-on experience working with SnowflakeStrong SQL skills and experience writing complex queriesExperience building and managing ETL or ELT data pipelinesKnowledge of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modelling, and data qualityExperience with Python or another scripting languageFamiliarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, dbt, or similarUnderstanding of APIs, relational databases, file formats, and cloud storageAbility to troubleshoot pipeline failures and performance issuesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsGood to HaveExperience with dbt and Snowflake Tasks, Streams, Snowpipe, or Dynamic TablesKnowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google CloudExperience with Kafka or other streaming platformsFamiliarity with CI/CD, Git, monitoring, and data governance practicesExperience integrating ERP, finance, or operational systems
