Key Responsibilities • Analyze and understand business processes and requirements to develop effective technical solutions. • Assist in the planning, designing, development, of new applications and enhancements to existing applications. • Collaborate with IT team members, decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues. • Prepare functional specification documents in accordance to new business requirements. • Ensure compatibility and interoperability of business software applications. • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems. • Assist in the deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications. • Identify, assess, and recommend software solutions and implementation partners to management. • Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions. • Participate and sometimes drive IT projects to ensure that system requirements and data engineering needs are addressed throughout the project life cycle. • Create systems models including integration points, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to internal stakeholders and third parties. • Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems. • Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems. Qualifications & Experience • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in related fields with 3 to 4 years in systems and/or functional analysis. • Proven experience in analysing, designing, and implementing information systems. • Strong understanding of business processes and technical systems. • Hands-on skills in SQL and databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server).
