Mutual Fund Distributor Operations Manager (India)

As a Manager/Deputy Manager in Distributor Operations for the India Mutual Fund business, your role involves executing various distributor operations activities while ensuring compliance with SEBI/AMFI regulations and guidelines. Your principal accountabilities include:- Executing Distributor operations activities for the Mutual Fund business- Ensuring proper implementation of brokerage structure in line with regulations- Providing brokerage structures to RTA on time for computation- Obtaining necessary documents from distributors for timely brokerage payment- Validating commissions computed by RTA and ensuring accurate payment- Evaluating opportunities to automate manual processes- Resolving Distributor queries and grievances- Servicing internal stakeholders with relevant distributor data- Preparing Brokerage MIS for senior management review- Preparing SEBI and other Regulatory reports- Coordinating with auditors during audits and addressing audit observationsTo excel in this role, you are required to have:- Minimum 2/3 years experience in distributor operations for a Mutual Fund/AMC- Understanding of SEBI Regulations and AMFI guidelines- Familiarity with technology, operating platforms, and software in asset management- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Aptitude for building positive relationships- NISM Series V - Mutual Funds Distributor Module certificationYour competencies should include excellent communication skills, collaboration as a team player, and a mindset for innovation and continuous improvement. Attributes like confident communication, attention to detail, and proactive behavior are essential for success in this role. Preferred industry experience includes a minimum of 5 years in distributor operations of an Asset Management Company/Mutual Fund.
