Job Title: SEO Executive

About the Role

We’re looking for a performance-driven SEO executive who can own organic growth end-to-end - from strategy to execution. This role goes beyond basics and focuses on technical SEO, content optimization, and measurable impact on rankings, traffic, and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

Keyword & Content Strategy

Conduct advanced keyword research (intent-based, long-tail, clustering)

Build and execute content roadmaps aligned with business goals

Perform competitor gap analysis and identify ranking opportunities

Optimize existing content for improved CTR, rankings, and engagement

On-Page SEO Optimization

Implement and optimize:

Title tags, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking

URL structures and canonicalization

Ensure content aligns with search intent + EEAT principles

Work closely with content and design teams for SEO-first content execution

Technical SEO (Core Focus Area)

Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP)

Identify and fix:

Crawl errors, indexing issues, broken links

Duplicate content and canonical issues

Implement and manage:

Schema Markup (Structured Data) - FAQs, Articles, Products, etc.

XML sitemaps, robots.txt optimization

Work on page speed optimization (lazy loading, image compression, caching)

Ensure mobile-first indexing readiness

Off-Page SEO & Authority Building

Execute high-quality link-building strategies (guest posts, PR, outreach)

Build domain authority through relevant backlinks

Track and disavow toxic links

Performance Tracking & Reporting

Monitor KPIs:

Organic traffic

Keyword rankings

Bounce rate & session time

Use tools like:

Google Analytics (GA4)

Google Search Console

SEMrush / Ahrefs

Create monthly SEO reports with insights + action plans

Continuous Optimization & Trends

Stay updated with Google algorithm updates

Run SEO experiments (content formats, internal linking, schema impact)

Suggest improvements based on data + industry trends

Requirements

1–2 years of hands-on SEO experience

Strong understanding of:

On-page, off-page & technical SEO

Practical knowledge of:

Core Web Vitals & page speed optimization

Schema Markup implementation

Experience with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.)

Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus

Analytical mindset with a focus on growth metrics

Bonus (Nice to Have)

Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, Shopify)

Exposure to international SEO or multi-location SEO

Understanding of conversion optimization (CRO)
