GCP DevOps Engineer

Description :

We are looking for a skilled GCP DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have experience in automation, CI/CD pipelines, cloud architecture, and infrastructure as code.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and manage cloud infrastructure using GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and Kubernetes Engine

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud Build

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager

• Monitor systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and GCP Monitoring

• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance optimization

• Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes

• Manage version control systems such as Git

• Implement security best practices including IAM roles, network policies, and data protection

• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)

• Understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with microservices architecture

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Knowledge of multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure is a plus)

Education & Experience :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering .
