The ideal candidate will have strong backend development skills in Java and hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for building scalable, real-time data processing systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop event-driven microservices using Java and Apache KafkaBuild and maintain Kafka producers, consumers, topics, and streamsImplement message processing, retries, error handling, and idempotencyDevelop and integrate RESTful APIsEnsure high availability, scalability, and performance of Kafka-based systemsMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Kafka and application performanceCollaborate with architects, DevOps, and QA teamsParticipate in code reviews and follow best practicesContribute to system design and technical discussionsRequired Skills6+ years of experience in Java backend developmentStrong hands-on experience with Apache KafkaExperience with event-driven and streaming architecturesSolid understanding of microservices architectureExperience with REST APIsGood knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and JVM conceptsFamiliarity with SQL / NoSQL databasesStrong problem-solving and debugging skills
