Description:Position: Business Analyst / Subject Matter Expert - Commercial InsuranceLocation: Onsite - MumbaiExperience: 5 YearsBudget: Industry standardsAbout the Role:- We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep domain expertise in Commercial Insurance to join our growing team.- The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring successful delivery of insurance transformation, product development, and process improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to commercial insurance products and processes.- Work closely with underwriting, claims, policy servicing, and IT teams to translate business needs into functional specifications.- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) on commercial insurance lines including property, casualty, liability, and specialty products.- Support business process design, gap analysis, and implementation of system enhancements or new platforms.- Validate and test solutions to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.- Facilitate workshops, conduct stakeholder meetings, and provide domain training to project teams.Required Skills & Qualifications:- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or SME within the Commercial Insurance domain.- Strong understanding of insurance lifecycle processes underwriting, policy administration, claims, and reinsurance.- Proven experience in working with core insurance systems, digital platforms, or transformation projects.- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills .
