Fabrication Fitter to fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain metal structures and components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and measurements. Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, fitting, and assembly of metal components. Mark, measure, and prepare materials according to required dimensions. Fit and align structural components before welding. Work with materials such as MS, SS, and other metals. Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and fabrication equipment safely. Check dimensions, alignment, and quality of fabricated components. Assist welders during fabrication and assembly activities. Identify and correct fitting or dimensional issues. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean and safe working area. Follow company safety procedures, quality standards, and work instructions. Coordinate with welders, supervisors, engineers, and other team members to complete jobs on schedule. Required Skills & Qualifications: ITI / Diploma in Fitter, Fabrication, or a related trade preferred. Previous experience as a Fabrication Fitter or Structural Fitter. Good knowledge of fabrication and fitting techniques. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. Knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, measuring tape, and spirit level. Ability to use grinders, drills, cutting machines, and other workshop tools. Good understanding of workplace safety practices. Physically fit and able to work in a workshop or industrial environment.
