Location: Pune / Bangalore | Role Type: Contract → Permanent | Levels: Internship, Junior (0–2 yrs), Mid (2–6 yrs), Senior (6+ yrs)

Responsibilities

• Concept sketching, rapid ideation, and physical models
• 3D CAD and DFM (design-for-manufacturing) ready files
• Collaborate with electronics/firmware teams for integration
• Material selection, ergonomics testing, and usability refinements
• Participate in prototype builds, pilot runs, and vendor discussions

Experience-specific

• Intern: Support ideation, CAD, and prototype prep
• Junior: Own smaller product features/components
• Mid: Lead product modules, mentor juniors, optimize manufacturability
• Senior: Define design direction, vendor coordination, represent design to stakeholders

Must-haves

• Strong sketching + 3D CAD (SolidWorks/Rhino/Fusion 360)
• Understanding of DFM and consumer product design
• Portfolio showcasing functional, user-centered designs
