Job Description: Founding CTO (Equity-Based / Early-Stage Startup)

Location: Remote / Hybrid

Compensation: Equity-Based + Stipend (₹10,000 – ₹15,000/month initially)

Type: Founding Team / Part-Time to Full-Time Transition

Role Overview

We are looking for a Founding CTO to lead the technology vision and architecture of a deep-tech platform spanning AI, Blockchain, IoT, and Sensor Systems. This role is for someone who wants to build from 0→1, take ownership, and grow into a long-term leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the overall technology roadmap

Architect scalable systems across:

AI platforms (agentic systems, automation)

Blockchain infrastructure (tokens, traceability, decentralized systems)

IoT + Edge AI (smart sensors, devices)

Lead development of MVPs and prototypes

Build and manage the initial tech team

Make key decisions on:

Tech stack

Infrastructure

Security and scalability

Collaborate on product strategy and investor discussions

Ensure fast execution with startup-level agility

Required Qualifications

Strong background in one or more:

Full-stack development

AI/ML systems

Embedded/IoT systems

Blockchain/Web3

Experience building or contributing to end-to-end products

Understanding of system architecture and scalability

Ability to work in uncertain, fast-moving environments

Preferred Experience

Previous startup or founding team experience

Exposure to:

Edge AI / sensor integration

Distributed systems / blockchain

SaaS or platform development

Open-source contributions or strong project portfolio
