Field Sales Manager

Position Overview We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Field Sales Manager with strong experience in capital equipment sales and industrial business development. The candidate should possess excellent customer engagement skills, a proven order booking track record, and the ability to independently drive business opportunities across industrial and commercial segments. The role requires extensive field interaction, high-level customer engagement, and strong techno-commercial understanding of industrial utility and infrastructure systems. Key Requirements Designation Field Sales Manager Experience 6–8 years of relevant experience in industrial / capital equipment sales. Experience in handling institutional and corporate customers across industrial sectors. Industry / Product Exposure Candidate should have prior sales exposure in one or more of the following capital equipment categories: Boilers Chillers HVAC Systems Air Compressors DG Sets / Gensets Water Treatment Plants (WTPs) Industrial Utility Equipment Similar engineered capital equipment solutions Key Skill Requirements Business Development & Sales Strong expertise in field sales and business development for capital equipment. Proven ability in cold calling and lead generation at senior management and decision-maker levels. Ability to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships. Order Booking Track Record Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and business closures. Proven order booking capability in projects / equipment with ticket sizes above ₹30 Lakhs . Customer Engagement Comfortable interacting with: Plant Heads Factory Managers Procurement Heads CXO-level stakeholders Technical consultants and project teams Communication & Personality Excellent English communication and presentation skills. Good interpersonal skills with a pleasing and professional personality. Strong negotiation and persuasion capabilities. Educational Qualification Bachelor’s Degree in: Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Travel Requirement Candidate should be open to extensive travelling for customer meetings, business development activities, and site visits. Preferred Industry Background / Peer Companies Suitable candidates may currently be working with or may have prior experience in reputed organizations such as: Voltas Blue Star Carrier Daikin Thermax Forbes Marshall Atlas Copco Alfa Laval Cummins Airmech Engineers Avant Garde Engineers and Consultants Shinryo Suvidha Engineers Fujitsu ABS Candidates from similar industrial capital equipment and engineering solution companies may also be considered. Preferred Attributes Self-driven and target-oriented personality. Strong techno-commercial aptitude. Ability to work independently and manage regional sales activities. Energetic, proactive, and relationship-focused approach. Compensation Compensation shall be commensurate with experience, capability, and past performance track record.
