Architectural Consultant

Our growing company is searching for experienced candidates for the position of architecture consultant. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. Responsibilities for architecture consultant.

Develops strategies for data warehouse implementation following industry best practice (Inmon or Kimball), creating conceptual, logical and physical models for implementation

Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the data warehouse concepts, practices, and procedures

Evaluates new data sources to assess quality and determine integration approach

Analyzes operational and analytical data requirements by working with cross functional business and application development teams

Mentors junior data architects and data modelers

Set the technology direction for the enterprise

Lead architecture, design and engineering for next generation architectures & infrastructure that enhance scalability, performance, resiliency and agility to enable the continued growth of our business

Mentor and grow engineering teams

Bring consistency in delivery of scalable and resilient solutions through architecture patterns and frameworks including continuous evolution, oversight and governance of the technology product as its owner

Create architecture lead roadmaps of initiatives aligned at enterprise level

Qualifications for architecture consultant

Knowledge of trade / securities processing

Acquainted with iso 20022

Ability to facilitate working meetings and update senior and lead technology officers on approach

Must have gone through complete systems development life cycle (sdlc) for at least one enterprise class application

Experience with dbms, including Netezza, db2, Oracle, sql Server, and other database environments.
