Safety Supervisor

Safety Supervisor Salary : 2.5-3.0 Lac Experience: 3–5 years (Industrial experience preferred) Location: ON-Site Department: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and responsible Safety Officer to ensure a safe working environment across our industrial operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in industrial/manufacturing companies , with good knowledge of workplace safety practices, statutory requirements, and safety procedures. Key Responsibilities·          Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures . ·        Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits . ·        Identify workplace hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions. ·        Ensure compliance with applicable industrial safety rules, regulations, and company policies . ·        Conduct toolbox talks, safety training,and awareness programs for employees and workers. ·        Monitor the safe use of PPE, machinery,equipment, and tools . ·        Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases and prepare reports. ·        Maintain safety records, inspection reports, training records, and other required documentation. ·        Coordinate and monitor fire safety,emergency preparedness, and evacuation procedures . ·        Ensure contractors and workers follow required safety standards at the workplace. ·        Follow up on safety observations and ensure timely closure of corrective actions. ·        Support management in developing and continuously improving workplace safety standards. Required Skills & Qualifications·          Diploma/Degree in Safety / Industrial Safety / Occupational Health & Safety or relevant qualification. ·         3–5 years of relevant experience in an industrial/manufacturing company . ·        Good knowledge of industrial safety practices and workplace hazard identification. ·        Knowledge of PPE, fire safety, risk assessment, accident investigation, and emergency procedures . ·        Good communication and interpersonal skills. ·        Ability to conduct safety training and toolbox meetings. ·        Candidates with hands-on experience in industrial plant/factory environments will be preferred .
