About the brands:

1. Ingredients First is an upcoming, ingredient-led haircare brand developing products such as clarifying shampoo, moisturizing shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, and leave-in cream.

2. Clayherbs focuses on beauty, personal care, and thoughtfully developed products.

We are looking for a proactive, organised, and curious intern who wants hands-on experience in building a beauty brand from the ground up, from product development and packaging to sales, marketing, and launch execution. You will work directly with the founder and gain practical exposure to product development, vendor management, sales, marketing, e-commerce, and business operations. This is an execution-focused role. We expect you to take ownership, follow up independently, solve problems, and ensure tasks are completed on time.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

A. Product Development & Formulation:

1. Coordinate with manufacturers, formulation teams, and suppliers.

2. Track product samples, formulation trials, feedback, and approvals.

3. Maintain records of ingredients, specifications, and development timelines.

B. Packaging & Vendor Management:

1. Coordinate with suppliers for bottles, labels, cartons, pumps, and other packaging.

2. Follow up on quotations, samples, artwork, printing, and deliveries.

3. Maintain vendor, cost, and production trackers.

C. Sales & Business Development:

1. Research potential customers, salons, distributors, retailers, and online sales opportunities.

2. Maintain lead databases and sales pipelines.

3. Follow up with prospects, coordinate samples, and assist with quotations and reports.

D. Marketing & Brand Launch:

1. Support product launches, photography, website content, and product listings.

2. Research competitors, pricing, customer reviews, and market trends.

3. Assist with social media planning, influencer outreach, campaigns, and marketing materials.

E. Founder's Office & Operations:

1. Maintain Excel/Google Sheets trackers, task lists, and project timelines.

2. Coordinate with vendors, teams, and external partners.

3. Share daily updates on completed tasks, pending work, and blockers.

4. Identify delays, suggest solutions, and follow through without constant supervision.
