Fashion Designer

About the job:We are looking for a Fashion Designer for our range of sustainable garments.

You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and creating a range of products. (WOMEN WEAR-WESTERN). Express the vision built collectively, and design/create distinctive and strong products and collections while keeping the essence of the brand's DNA

Key responsibilities:

1. Must have a keen interest and understanding of sustainable fashion

2. Propose designs, sketches, colour palettes, and mood boards linked to seasonal concepts.

3. Develop designs from drawings and/or mock-ups from a technical perspective.

4. Needs to have a clear understanding of measurement specs.

5. Responsible for creating technical drawings in Illustrator based on hand sketches and 3D sketches

6. Attend design meetings and fitting sessions, follow up on finalization and validation of prototypes, pre-production, and production pieces.

7. Prepare for design meetings and presentations.

8. Keep collection overviews up to date and maintain progress reports.

9. Ensure communication flow and work closely with design and product teams, including masters.

10. Visit suppliers and development teams to hand over designs.
