Hitwicket is looking for a Passionate candidate who can build a world-class mobile gaming experience for a billion cricket fans. We value your hunger and creativity in helping us build Hitwicket.

Responsibilities:

Good Knowledge in Sketching and Painting (BFA Preferable).Interpret concept art and sketches to create virtual characters, environments and props

Follow design guidelines, asset naming conventions and other technical constraints

Prototype and iterate on models and characters based on feedback from team members

Optimize, refine and correct model geometry

Rig models and characters for animation

Color characters, add Textures and shade the given characters based on the material used

Create textures that generate visual interest and define the characteristics.

Generate the output within the time frame by understanding the desired output.

Create a UV map and Occlusion map

Work with artists, animators and programmers to execute projects on time

Keep abreast with the latest developments in 3D design, capture and modeling tools and technologies

Requirements

Good Knowledge in Sketching and Painting (BFA Preferable).

Minimum 3 years of experience as a 3D artist(Modeling and texturing)

Good organization skills.

Good Knowledge of 3D Modeling, Lighting and Rendering.

Excellent knowledge of real-time modeling techniques (shaders, PBR, normal, displacement etc. )

Strong portfolio showing 3D art skills and demonstrating a high level of artistic creativity.

Strong high & low-resolution modeling and texturing skills.

Good experience in the video game industry with 3D packages, preferably Maya or 3DSMax & ZBrush.

Experience working on published mobile games would be a strong advantage.

College Diploma/Degree in graphic design, 3D, video game development or equivalent training.
