ANM Home Care Nurses

Key Responsibilities1. Patient CareProvide basic nursing care to patients at home.Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, feeding, grooming, and mobility.Maintain patient hygiene and comfort.2. Clinical SupportAssist doctors or registered nurses in basic medical procedures.Administer medications as prescribed under supervision.Perform basic procedures such as dressing wounds, catheter care, and injections (if permitted).Maintain infection control and hygiene protocols.3. Patient MonitoringObserve patient conditions and report any changes to the supervising nurse or doctor.Maintain daily patient care records and reports.Support rehabilitation and recovery processes.4. Patient & Family SupportEducate patients and family members on basic home care and hygiene practices.Provide emotional support to patients and caregivers.Assist family members in understanding medication schedules and care routines.5. Compliance & DocumentationMaintain accurate patient documentation and treatment records.Follow hospital/home healthcare policies and clinical protocols.Ensure patient confidentiality and ethical practices.QualificationANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) Certification from a recognized institution.Valid nursing registration (if applicable as per state norms).Experience0–3 years of experience in hospitals, clinics, or home healthcare services preferred.Freshers with clinical training may also apply.Skills RequiredBasic nursing and patient care skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently in home settingsCompassion, patience, and empathyBasic documentation and reporting skills
