Frontend Engineer - OctavoLab

About the Role:

OctavoLab is looking for a skilled Frontend Engineer to build modern, responsive and data-intensive web applications for healthcare, logistics, e-commerce and other client platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop responsive web applications using React, TypeScript and Vue.js.

Build reusable components and maintain consistent UI standards.

Integrate REST APIs and manage application state.

Develop dashboards, complex tables, forms and role-based interfaces.

Implement authentication, permissions and error handling.

Ensure accessibility, browser compatibility and performance.

Write unit, component and end-to-end tests.

Collaborate with product, design, backend and QA teams.

Mandatory Skills:

3–5 years of frontend development experience.

Strong JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.

Hands-on production experience with React, hooks and component architecture.

Experience with state management, routing and REST API integration.

Knowledge of responsive design, accessibility and performance optimisation.

Experience with unit/component testing and automated testing.

Working knowledge of Git, package management and CI/CD.

Good to Have:

Vue.js, Pinia or Vuex.

Vite, Axios, Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.

Vitest, Jest, Playwright or Cypress.

TanStack Query, TanStack Table or Redux Toolkit.

Spanish-language applications and internationalisation.

Experience with healthcare, logistics, e-commerce or fintech platforms.

Job Details:

Location: Hyderabad (office-based with hybrid flexibility).

Employment: Full-time.

Reporting to: Technical Lead.

Working hours: Standard India business hours.
