Chief Manager Financial Reporting 5+ Years Mumbai

Are you a Qualified Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of experience in Financial Reporting within the insurance industry We are looking for a finance professional with strong expertise in Ind AS, IFRS, IGAAP, IRDAI reporting, and financial statement preparation. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on Financial Reporting and Accounting experience, rather than FP&A or financial planning.

Role Purpose

Manage Ind AS / IFRS / IGAAP financial preparation and reporting.

Ensure accurate and timely financial and regulatory reporting for the insurance business.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review financial statements as per IRDAI, Ind AS/IGAAP, and IFRS requirements.

Manage IRDAI regulatory reporting, including BAP Returns and Public Disclosures.

Prepare Proforma Ind AS Financials and Group Financial Reporting under IFRS.

Coordinate with statutory/internal auditors, perform ledger scrutiny, and ensure timely audit closure.

Requirements

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Financial Reporting / Finance & Accounts, preferably within the insurance industry.

Strong hands-on experience in Financial Reporting, Financial Statements, Ind AS, IFRS, and IGAAP.

Strong understanding of IRDAI regulatory reporting, including BAP Reporting and Public Disclosures.

Experience in handling statutory and internal audits and coordinating with auditors.

Strong knowledge of ledger scrutiny, accounting, financial closure, and reporting.

Exposure to Group MIS and Group Financial Reporting.

Experience with ERP systems / ERP implementation is preferred.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
