Job description

About the internship:Our tender platform uses AI to shortlist products that may meet a buyer's specification. This role makes that shortlist trustworthy: you check each suggestion against the manufacturer's datasheet, find what is missing, build the bill of materials, get quotations and authorisation letters from OEMs, and prepare the technical compliance for our engineers to sign off. The projects are government security systems: CCTV and video management, number-plate recognition, access control, perimeter security, public address, and networks.

Work is in the office at Mercantile House, KG Marg, New Delhi, Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The internship converts to a full-time role after six months at Rs 3.6 to 4 lakh a year.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Read the technical specification and bill of quantities of security tenders and break them into clear, checkable requirements.

2. Use our platform's product research to shortlist products, then verify each match against the manufacturer's datasheet: complies, exceeds, or deviates, with the page that proves it. The AI suggests; you confirm.

3. Find and add missing datasheets, certificates, and local-content declarations; keep the product and OEM library current.

4. Draft technical pre-bid queries against specifications that are restrictive or written around a single manufacturer.

5. Build the bill of materials, including what is easy to forget: mounting, cabling, licences, storage and warranty years.

6. Send requests for quotation to OEMs and distributors, compare quotes line by line against the BOQ, and request tender-specific authorisation letters.

7. Prepare the technical compliance sheet and solution summary for each bid with our engineers.

8. After the results, record which products and prices won, and any technical rejections.

9. Tell leadership early when something is at risk. We would much rather know on Tuesday that Friday is in trouble.Who can apply:Only those candidates can apply who:are available for full time (in-office) internshipcan start the internship between 16th Oct'26 and 20th Nov'26are available for duration of 6 monthshave relevant skills and interests* Women wanting to start/restart their career can also apply.* Freshers looking for jobs may also applyStipend:INR₹ 20,000 - 22,000 /monthDeadline:[hidden]:59:59Other perks:Certificate, Letter of recommendation, Job offerSkills required:MS-Office, Computer Networking, MS-Word, Time Management, MS-Excel, English Proficiency (Spoken), English Proficiency (Written) and Effective CommunicationOther Requirements:1.
