Job description
About the internship:We have built our own tender intelligence platform. Every day it collects new tenders from more than fifty government portals, downloads the documents and tracks every change a buyer makes. We need an operator who runs it with judgement: the platform does the searching; you make the calls, and you notice when it is wrong.
Work is in office at Mercantile House, KG Marg, New Delhi, Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The internship converts to a full-time role after six months at Rs 3.6 to 4 lakh a year.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Work the daily intake on our tender platform: qualify each new tender on scope, eligibility and EMD, and record a bid or no-bid decision with the reason.
2. Review corrigenda every day: what the buyer changed (dates, documents, scope, conditions) and whether it changes our decision.
3. For tenders we pursue, read the documents and pull out what binds us: eligibility, turnover and experience thresholds, required certifications, EMD amount and mode, and every date, including the pre-bid query window.
4. Keep each live bid's record current on the platform: owner, status, open questions, documents still needed and the next deadline.
5. Prepare the compliance checklist for each bid and track every item to submission with the bid team.
6. Watch collection health: portals that stopped returning results, document downloads that stalled, searches we should be running. Report what breaks.
7. After the result, record who bid, at what price and who was rejected at which stage, so we bid better next time.
8. Send a short end-of-day summary: what came in, what was decided, what is closing and what is stuck.
9. Tell leadership early when something is at risk. We would much rather know on Tuesday that Friday is in trouble.Who can apply:Only those candidates can apply who:are available for full time (in-office) internshipcan start the internship between 16th Oct'26 and 20th Nov'26are available for duration of 6 monthshave relevant skills and interests* Women wanting to start/restart their career can also apply.* Freshers looking for jobs may also applyStipend:INR₹ 20,000 - 22,000 /monthDeadline:[hidden]:59:59Other perks:Certificate, Letter of recommendation, Job offerSkills required:MS-Office, MS-Word, Time Management, MS-Excel, English Proficiency (Spoken), English Proficiency (Written) and Effective CommunicationOther Requirements:1.
