Position - Senior Business AnalystExperience Required: 8+ YearsRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in the Funds domain (Asset Management / Fund Accounting / Private Equity / Hedge Funds). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across the investment lifecycle, NAV calculation, and fund operations, and will work closely with stakeholders, product teams, and technology teams to deliver scalable solutions for fund accounting and investment management platforms. This role requires a strong blend of domain knowledge, business analysis skills, and system implementation experience.Key ResponsibilitiesGather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements related to fund accounting and investment operationsCollaborate with Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, and technology teamsTranslate business requirements into BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and data mapping documentsPerform gap analysis, impact analysis, and support solution design for fund platformsWork across the end-to-end investment lifecycle: trade capture → settlement → reconciliation → NAV → reportingParticipate in UAT planning, execution, defect tracking, and stakeholder sign-offsSupport system implementations, upgrades, or migrations (e.g., fund accounting platforms)Drive process improvements, automation, and control enhancements in fund operationsEnsure compliance with regulatory and financial reporting requirementsCommunicate effectively with global stakeholders and clientsRequired Skills & Qualifications8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Asset Management / Fund Accounting / Capital Markets domainStrong understanding of:Fund Accounting & NAV calculationHedge Funds / Mutual Funds / Private Equity structuresTrade lifecycle and investment operationsHands-on experience in:Requirement gathering, BRD / FSD documentationUAT coordination and stakeholder managementAgile/Scrum methodologies (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsExperience working with global clients / stakeholdersGood to HaveExperience with fund accounting platforms such as:Investran, Multifonds, Eagle, SimCorp, Aladdin, Geneva, NeoxamKnowledge of:Private Equity concepts (Waterfall, Capital Calls, Carried Interest, LPA)Financial instruments (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives)Reconciliation, corporate actions, pricingExposure to data analysis tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau)Experience in system implementations, data migration, or transformation programsKey CompetenciesStrong domain expertise in funds and investment managementAbility to translate complex financial requirements into clear functional solutionsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsHigh attention to detail and ownership mindsetAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
