About the internship:Gain foundational knowledge of medical coding, healthcare terminology, and documentation through structured practical activities. Interns will develop an understanding of how medical information is organized and used for coding purposes.

Selected interns' day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Learn and understand basic medical terminology.

2. Understand healthcare documentation and medical records.

3. Study fundamental medical coding concepts and guidelines.

4. Practice coding-related exercises using sample medical information.

5. Review and interpret sample healthcare documentation.
