Zenith Educational Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a prompt engineer to design, test, and optimize prompts for AI-powered educational and product workflows. The role focuses on turning business and product requirements into clear, reliable instructions that produce consistent and useful outputs. The candidate will work closely with product, technology, and content teams to improve AI-driven features and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Prompt engineering & development:

1. Design and optimize prompts for business, educational, and product use cases

2. Create system prompts, user prompts, prompt templates, and reusable instruction patterns

3. Apply zero-shot, one-shot, and few-shot prompting techniques based on requirements

4. Implement prompt chaining and structured prompting for multi-step tasks and complex workflows

5. Define roles, context, constraints, rules, examples, and output formats within prompts

6. Test prompts with multiple inputs, identify failure cases, and improve response consistency

7. Develop prompts for question generation, explanations, summaries, classification, content transformation, and evaluation workflows

8. Create and maintain a prompt library with versions, use cases, test cases, and expected outputs

B. Quality, testing & evaluation

1. Design test cases to evaluate prompt accuracy, relevance, completeness, clarity, and consistency

2. Identify output issues such as ambiguity, missing information, incorrect formatting, and inconsistent responses

3. Create evaluation checklists and expected-output guidelines for key prompt workflows

4. Conduct prompt experiments, compare results, document findings, and recommend improvements

5. Maintain prompt versions and change logs to reuse successful approaches across products

C. Collaboration & product:

1. Collaborate with developers and product teams to convert requirements into production-ready prompt workflows

2. Understand product requirements and translate them into practical, measurable, and reusable prompts

3. Coordinate with content teams to improve the quality and structure of AI-generated educational material

4. Support the implementation and testing of prompt-based features across LMS and other company products

5. Document prompt logic, dependencies, expected inputs, outputs, and edge cases for internal use
