As an OT Technician, you will play an essential role in supporting operating room activities and ensuring a smooth process for surgical teams. Your responsibilities include:- Preparing the Operating Room: Set up and maintain a sterile environment by arranging surgical instruments and equipment as per protocols before surgeries.- Assisting during Surgeries: Help surgeons and nurses with instruments, sutures, and other supplies during procedures, ensuring that everything is readily available.- Post-Operative Clean-Up: Ensure the operating room is cleaned and disinfected after each surgery, ready for the next procedure.- Equipment Maintenance: Regularly check and maintain surgical instruments and equipment, reporting any malfunctions or need for repairs to the supervisor.- Patient Care Support: Prepare patients for surgery by helping them get ready and educating them about the procedure as needed.To succeed in this role, you should possess certain skills and meet some expectations.
