Pre-Primary Teacher

To provide a safe, caring, and stimulating learning environment for young children and support their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through age-appropriate teaching and activities. Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and conduct engaging lessons and activities appropriate for pre-primary children. Teach basic concepts such as numbers, alphabets, colours, shapes, vocabulary, and general awareness. Use play-based, activity-based, and experiential learning methods. Develop children's communication, motor, social, and creative skills. Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. Monitor and assess children's learning and developmental progress. Maintain regular records of attendance, assessments, and student activities. Communicate with parents regarding children's progress, behaviour, and developmental needs. Encourage good habits, hygiene, discipline, sharing, and cooperation. Organize classroom activities, celebrations, games, storytelling, art, music, and other events. Ensure classroom materials and learning resources are properly maintained. Work collaboratively with other teachers and school staff. Follow school policies, curriculum guidelines, and child-safety procedures.
