Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team in Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is crucial in optimizing our cash flow and minimizing days sales outstanding (DSO).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
• Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts and initiate collection efforts.
• Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records of all collections activities and provide regular updates to management on the status of receivables.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates and reduce DSO.
• Prepare and present reports on accounts receivable performance metrics.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of collections processes and accounts receivable management.
• Familiarity with DSO metrics and strategies to optimize cash flow.
• Proficiency in O2C (Order to Cash) processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
