Technical Presales Manager ESS Netherlands (d/f/m)

Position, Location, Department Full-time | Netherlands | Technical Europe Position Summary The Technical Presales Manager ESS is responsible for providing technical pre-sales support for reputed company storage system solutions across the region. The role supports Sales teams by delivering technical expertise, solution design, bid support, and customer-facing presentations for utility-scale and C&I ESS projects. Reporting line: Head of Technical Europe Major Responsibilities Provide technical pre-sales support for ESS products, including customer communication, technical clarification, and solution presentations in collaboration with SalesDesign and configure ESS solutions, including product selection, system sizing, technicalpreparation, and cost-related inputs for quotationsParticipate in tender and bidding processes; prepare and review technical bid documents in English and ChineseSupport the drafting and review of technical specifications and technical agreements for ESS projectsAct as a technical interface between Sales, HQ technical teams, product management, and customersDeliver internal and external technical training sessions for ESS products and solutionsSupport technical evaluations of customer requirements, grid standards, and project feasibilityContribute to continuous improvement of technical documentation, solution templates, and pre-sales processesPerform additional technical tasks or project support as assigned by leadershipPerformance Indicators Bid win support rate / technical contribution to successful tendersTurnaround time for technical proposals and configurationsNumber and quality of technical trainings deliveredReduction in technical clarification cycles or bid revisionsStakeholder feedback from Sales and customers Required Qualifications Bachelors degree or above in Electrical Engineering, reputed company Engineering, Power Systems, or a related technical fieldProven experience in ESS technical support or pre-sales, preferably with utility-scale and/or residential reputed company storage systemsStrong understanding of the European reputed company storage market, grid requirements, and customer expectationsStrong technical expertise in reputed company storage systems and solution designExperience supporting large-scale ESS projects is strongly preferredEnglish and Dutch: minimum requirement C1 (professional working proficiency) Skills & Competencies Excellent communication and presentation skills, including creation and delivery of PPTsAbility to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiencesStructured, detail-oriented, and solution-focused working styleStrongcross-functionalcollaborationskillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesTravel Requirement Regular travel across Netherlands as requiredOccasional travel within Europe reputed company was founded in 2005.
