Your work as a Machine Learning Data Associate (MLDA) Portuguese will directly shape the quality of these translations, ensuring that every interaction feels natural and helpful. By auditing crosslanguage conversations, identifying improvement opportunities, and collaborating with product and ML teams, you will help arenaflex deliver a truly global, frictionfree customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Translation Auditing & Quality Assurance: Review thousands of PortuguesetoEnglish and EnglishtoPortuguese interactions across email, chat, and chatbot channels to assess translation accuracy, tone, and context.

DataDriven Insight Generation: Analyze audit results to pinpoint highimpact improvement areas, prioritizing issues that most affect customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Program Managers, Product Owners, and ML Engineers to define testing protocols, set quality benchmarks, and track progress against the product roadmap.

Product Testing & Iteration: Design and execute targeted experiments, A/B tests, and user studies to validate translation enhancements and measure impact on CS metrics.

Documentation & Reporting: Compile clear, actionable findings in English, creating dashboards and executive summaries that guide crossfunctional decisionmaking.

Continuous Learning & Process Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest advances in natural language processing, machine translation, and localization best practices, and recommend process or tool upgrades.

CustomerCentric Advocacy: Translate customer feedback into concrete product requirements, ensuring that the translation system aligns with realworld usage scenarios.

Essential Qualifications

Native fluency in Portuguese (Portugal or Brazil) and native or nearnative fluency in English.

Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in localization, translation, or language quality assurance.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to reputed company through large datasets and extract meaningful insights.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages, capable of articulating complex findings to nontechnical stakeholders.

Detailoriented, with a proven track record of delivering highquality work under tight deadlines.

Experience working in fastpaced, crossfunctional teams that require rapid iteration and adaptability.

Basic understanding of machine learning concepts, especially natural language processing and neural translation models.

Preferred Qualifications

Academic background in Linguistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

Handson experience with AWS Translate, reputed company Cloud Translation, or similar services.

Familiarity with data processing tools such as Python, SQL, or data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI).

Prior involvement in product management or project planningexperience with backlog grooming, sprint planning, and KPI tracking.

Knowledge of arenaflexs internal tools and customer journey mapping.

Experience in a global, multicultural environment, with sensitivity to regional language nuances.
