Data Engineer - Databricks/Unity Catalog

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Databricks Data Engineer to join our team in a fully remote role. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog, Python, and PySpark, along with a solid understanding of data governance and modern data engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions using Databricks.Build and optimize data pipelines using Python and PySpark.Work with Unity Catalog for data governance, access control, and data management.Implement and maintain effective data governance and data management practices.Develop reliable and high-performance data processing workflows.Ensure data quality, security, accessibility, and compliance across data platforms.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.Troubleshoot and optimize existing data pipelines and data processing workloads.

Required Skills &

Qualifications :

5 years of relevant Data Engineering experience.Strong hands-on experience with Databricks.Strong experience with Unity Catalog.Proficiency in Python and PySpark.Good understanding of Data Governance and Data Management.Experience building and optimizing scalable data pipelines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a remote and collaborative environment.
