Java Spring Boot Developer Kafka 4+ Years

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Java Spring Boot Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Kafka and backend development to join our engineering team.

The ideal candidate should have experience building scalable, reliable and high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot, along with practical experience working with Kafka-based event-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot

Develop scalable REST APIs and microservices

Design and implement Kafka producers and consumers

Work with event-driven and asynchronous processing architectures

Develop clean, maintainable and well-tested code

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues

Optimize application performance and scalability

Work with databases and develop efficient queries

Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers and other team members

Follow best practices for coding, security, logging and application monitoring

Required Skills

4+ years of professional experience in Java development

Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17+

Strong experience with Spring Boot

Good understanding of Spring Framework and REST APIs

Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka

Understanding of Kafka producers, consumers, topics, partitions and consumer groups

Experience with Microservices architecture

Good knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL

Experience with Git and standard software development practices

Good understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills .
