Video Editing/Making - Internship

About the internship:Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Edit raw footage received from reporters into clear, engaging and professional news videos.

2. Work closely with reporters to understand the news story, key facts and required video format.

3. Create YouTube videos, news packages, Reels and Shorts based on daily news.

4. Trim and arrange video clips, interviews, statements and supporting footage appropriately.

5. Add headlines, captions, subtitles, lower-thirds, logos, transitions and other required graphics.

6. Maintain consistency in Rashtriya Ujala's visual identity and branding.

7. Select suitable visuals, background music and other elements wherever appropriate, while maintaining the seriousness and credibility of news content.

8. Edit videos within agreed timelines, particularly for time-sensitive and breaking news.

9. Coordinate with reporters and the editorial team for corrections, additional footage and final approvals.

10. Prepare videos in appropriate formats and dimensions for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and other digital platforms.

11. Help create short-form content from longer news videos and interviews.

12. Ensure that edited content is accurate, technically sound and free from obvious editing errors.

13. Stay updated with current digital video trends and suggest creative ways to improve audience engagement.

14.
