Deputy Manager - Finance & Accounts

We are hiring a Deputy Manager Finance & Accounts with 57 years of relevant experience to manage accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, audits, MIS, cash flow, and financial controls.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Finance & Accounts, GST/TDS, finalization of accounts, MIS reporting, audit coordination, and advanced Excel.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finalization

Manage day-to-day accounting operations.Ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping.Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures.Review journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.GST & Income Tax

Coordinate with consultants on ongoing GST and Income Tax cases.Handle assessments, notices, and departmental queries.Coordinate and provide required information/data to consultants and internal teams.Prior experience in handling tax cases is required.MIS & Financial Reporting

Prepare monthly MIS reports.Analyze revenue, costs, margins, and profitability.Prepare variance analysis and provide business insights.Support management with financial dashboards and reports.Taxation & Compliance

Ensure timely GST, TDS, PF, PT, and other statutory compliances.Coordinate with consultants for tax filings.Ensure adherence to applicable financial regulations.Audit & Controls

Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors.Ensure timely closure of audit observations.Strengthen internal financial controls and process compliance.Cash Flow & Treasury

Monitor daily cash flow and fund availability.Support banking transactions and reconciliations.Team Management

Lead and mentor junior finance team members.Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.Promote accountability and process discipline.Required Skills
