We are looking for a skilled L1 Network Security Engineer to join our team in Mahape. This role requires a strong focus on protecting our network and ensuring the integrity of our information system. Key Responsibilities:- Monitor Network Traffic: Regularly check network activity to identify any unauthorized access or anomalies that may signal security threats.- Security Incident Response: Respond to security incidents promptly, analyzing and resolving issues to minimize damage and prevent future occurrences.- Firewall Management: Configure and manage firewalls to ensure they protect the network while allowing legitimate traffic through without disruption.- Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular assessments to identify vulnerabilities in systems and networks to patch or secure potential risks.- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain clear documentation of security incidents, policies, and procedures, and create reports to inform management of security status.Required Skills and Expectations:Candidates should have 3 to 9 years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically in network security. A strong understanding of network protocols and security technologies, such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems, is essential. Certified professionals (., CCNA, CEH) are preferred.
