Social Media Intern

ProLearn is building a modern learning platform designed to make education more engaging, accessible, and effective for students.

We're looking for a Social Media Intern who is creative, internet-savvy, and excited to build a strong social presence for an education-focused startup.

What you'll do

Plan and execute social media content across Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.

Come up with creative content ideas, reels, posts, hooks, and campaigns that resonate with students, parents, and educators.

Write engaging captions, scripts, and short-form content.

Research social media trends, formats, sounds, and content styles and identify opportunities for ProLearn.

Help create and coordinate short-form video content, including reels.

Repurpose existing ProLearn content into different social media formats.

Monitor content performance and identify what is working and what can be improved.

Work with the team on social media campaigns, launches, and brand initiatives.

Track relevant metrics and use insights to improve future content.

Stay up to date with trends in education, student culture, and social media.

What we're looking for

Strong understanding of Instagram and short-form content.

Excellent communication and copywriting skills.

Creativity and the ability to turn simple ideas into engaging content.

Familiarity with Canva and/or basic video editing tools.

Good understanding of social media trends and content formats.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

A genuine interest in content creation, marketing, and building brands.

Bonus points

Experience creating reels or other short-form videos.

Experience managing a social media account or growing an online community.

Familiarity with tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar platforms.

Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.

This is a hands-on role where you'll have the opportunity to directly contribute to ProLearn's social media presence and experiment with different content ideas.
