Indirect Tax Analyst - Associate

Responsibilities

Solicit and gather tax exemption certificates from customersValidate accuracy of the certificate, issue tax credit and flag customer exemptIssue exemption certificates to vendors as requested following company guidelinesUpdate customer exempt certs as requiredGather tax data from the billing and accounting records, prepare work papers, file US and Canadian sales and use tax returns with associated schedules and initiate timely paymentsPrepare use tax calculation for promotional materialsRespond in writing to notices from taxing jurisdictionsPerform special projects as needed. (e.g. Gather and analyze documentation for sales and use tax audits; assist with unclaimed property)Work with internal and external customers regarding tax questions on customer accountsAcquire and maintain business licenses and annual reports

Skills
