Junior Operations Specialist

About the job:We're looking for someone who enjoys making things happen: connecting with people, organising moving parts, and taking responsibility for results. Working closely with the founding team, you will help build and manage our e-commerce ecosystem, vendor relationships, and astrologer network.

Key responsibilities:

1. Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for gemstones, astrology-related products, packaging, and other business requirements.

2. Coordinate pricing, samples, product quality, availability, and delivery commitments.

3. Research and reach out to astrologers, explain the platform, and manage onboarding and ongoing coordination.

4. Maintain accurate product catalogues, partner databases, inventory records and operational trackers.

5. Coordinate orders, fulfilment, logistics, returns and customer issues with relevant partners and teams.

6. Track launch activities and operational deadlines, resolve bottlenecks and escalate issues promptly.

7. Develop practical processes that improve turnaround time, accuracy and customer experience.

8. Use Excel and AI tools to support research, reporting, and efficient workflows.

9. Participate in vendor visits, partner meetings and occasional outstation travel.

Good knowledge of using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude, including checking and refining their outputs.5. Strong organization, follow-through and attention to detail.6. The ability to manage multiple priorities, take ownership and work with limited supervision.7. An agile approach, sound judgement and the ability to learn quickly.8. Willingness to travel outstation when required.9. Experience with an e-commerce platform or order management system is an advantage.
