Embedded Engineer - 01

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Engineer with a strong background in satellite payload hardware and RF signal processing. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in embedded systems design, development, and testing, with a focus on satellite communications. You will work closely with our engineering team to design, implement, and optimize embedded systems for our satellite payloads.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop embedded systems for satellite payload hardware.

Implement and optimize RF signal processing algorithms.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and architecture.

Develop and execute test plans to ensure system performance and reliability.

Debug and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

Document design specifications, test results, and system performance.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in satellite communications and embedded systems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

2-4 years of experience in embedded systems design and development.

Strong knowledge of RF signal processing and satellite communications.

Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.

Experience with FPGA design and development using VHDL or Verilog.

Familiarity with embedded Linux and real-time operating systems (RTOS).

Hands-on experience with hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.).

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with software-defined radio (SDR) and digital signal processing (DSP).

Knowledge of satellite communication protocols and standards.

Familiarity with space-qualified hardware and radiation-hardened design practices.

Experience with agile development methodologies.
