Video Editor - Internship (WFH & Part Time)

About the internship:Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Edit short-form videos for the company's social media and digital marketing channels.

2. Convert raw footage, interviews, product demos, and user-generated content into engaging videos.

3. Create Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, explainers, testimonials, and behind-the-scenes content.

4. Develop different versions of videos to communicate with both sides of the marketplace.

5. Add captions, music, sound effects, graphics, animations, and other elements to improve engagement.

6. Work closely with the founding, marketing, and content teams to understand the objective behind each video.

7. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for new video formats and content concepts.

8. Stay updated on emerging social media formats, editing styles, hooks, and content trends.

9. Organize and maintain video assets, project files, footage, and editing libraries.

10. Prior experience creating Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or other social-first content is a plus.3. A portfolio, personal content page, or examples of previous editing work is highly preferred.4. Interest in startups, consumer brands, social media, the creator economy, or marketplaces.5. Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities can change quickly.6. Proactive attitude with the ability to suggest ideas rather than only execute instructions.7. Strong curiosity and willingness to experiment with different editing styles and formats.8.
