Statutory Audit Officer

We are seeking a Statutory Audit Executive to join our client's CA firm in Ahmedabad. The role involves handling statutory audits of medium to large-sized entities, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standards, and supporting audit planning and execution. The candidate will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality audit engagements. Key Responsibilities :Conduct and manage statutory audits, including planning, execution, and reportingHandle audits of entities with turnover exceeding ₹500 CrAnalyze financial statements and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standardsIdentify audit risks and perform risk-based audit proceduresEnsure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, FEMA, and other relevant regulationsPrepare audit documentation, working papers, and draft audit reportsCoordinate with clients to understand financial records and business processesAssist in improving internal controls and providing practical recommendationsSupport seniors and partners in audit-related assignments and client communicationMeet deadlines and maintain high-quality audit standardsRequirementsRequired Skills & KnowledgeStrong knowledge of Statutory Audit and audit proceduresExposure to large audits (₹500 Cr+ turnover) is mandatoryWorking knowledge of:Taxation and GSTCorporate Law and FEMARisk-based auditsGood understanding of financial reporting and analysisProficiency in MS Excel and accounting/audit softwareStrong analytical, communication, and documentation skillsExperience: 1–4 Years (Freshers with strong audit knowledge may be considered)Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)​Additional Exposure (Preferred)Forensic auditsDue diligence and valuation assignmentsLitigation support or special auditsInterview ProcessRound 1: Online interviewRound 2: Personal / Face-to-face interviewBenefits :Competitive salary packageHealth insurance and statutory benefitsPaid leaves and holidaysPerformance-based incentivesTraining and career growth opportunities
