Bizoforce is hiring an experienced Red Hat Linux / RHEL Administrator with 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise Linux system administration.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of Red Hat Linux environments, including installation, configuration, patching, security hardening, monitoring, troubleshooting, automation, and production support across development, test, and production environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesRHEL AdministrationInstall, configure, administer, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers.Manage Linux servers across Development, Test, and Production environments.Handle the complete server lifecycle, including installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and decommissioning.Perform OS patching, upgrades, configuration changes, and security hardening.Security & Vulnerability ManagementReview and remediate vulnerabilities based on RedHat security advisories.Implement Linux security hardening and configuration management.Support compliance requirements and infrastructure security initiatives.System Monitoring & TroubleshootingMonitor system health, performance, availability, and capacity.Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, filesystem, networking, and performance issues.Perform root-cause analysis and resolution of recurring infrastructure problems.Storage & Filesystem ManagementManage Linux filesystems, LVM, mounts, permissions, and storage.Troubleshoot filesystem and storage-related issues.Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.AutomationAutomate routine administration and operational activities using Shell scripting.Work with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible / Ansible Tower.Support infrastructure automation and operational efficiency initiatives.Production SupportParticipate in incident, problem, and change management processes.Provide production infrastructure support and resolve critical technical issues.Maintain system documentation, configuration records, and operational procedures.Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate with infrastructure, application, security, cloud, and operations teams.Support enterprise hardware platforms and infrastructure environments.Contribute to Agile/Scrum activities and track work using Jira.Required SkillsRedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)Linux System AdministrationServer Installation & ConfigurationOS Patching & UpgradesSecurity HardeningVulnerability RemediationLinux Filesystem ManagementLVMStorage ManagementShell ScriptingProduction SupportRoot Cause AnalysisBackup & RecoveryPreferred SkillsRHCSA CertificationAnsible / Ansible TowerDell iDRACCisco UCSAWS / Public CloudPythonRubyChefKubernetesOpenShiftContainerized EnvironmentsInfrastructure as CodeCloud-Native ArchitectureJiraAgile / ScrumQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.5+ years of hands-on experience in RedHat Linux / RHEL system administration.RHCSA certification is preferred.Strong experience supporting enterprise Linux environments across multiple stages.Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.Willingness to participate in 24x7 on-call support.Basic SkillsRHEL / Red Hat LinuxLinux AdministrationShell ScriptingLinux FilesystemsLVMPatchingSecurity HardeningVulnerability ManagementAnsibleProduction SupportAssignment DetailsRole: Red Hat Linux / RHEL Administrator
